Abstract
Licensure of a vaccine does not in itself result in vaccine use or acceptance. Not all vaccines can be given to or are appropriate for all people. Various governmental and nongovernmental organizations may recommend the use of specific vaccines for certain populations. Governments may mandate vaccination for populations such as children and travelers.
