Abstract

The leukemoid reaction and chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML) can have very similar laboratory presentations. Physical examination findings generally can point the clinican in the right direction. We present a case in which a patient who had been given an initial diagnosis of CML ultimately was found to have urothelial carcinoma with left hydronephrosis and a leukemoid reaction.
