Abstract

Tortuosity of the vertebral artery as rarely been cited as a diagnosis in the literature of orthopaedic surgery, but it is perhaps one of the most common causes of this radiographic defect. The following case is presented to acquaint orthopaedic surgeons with the findings of this lesion and to suggest a practical routine for diagnosis.
