Abstract
HBIGDA members' treatment of persons with disorders of sex development (DSD), was assessed by questionnaire. The response rate was 71%. Ninety-three members (40% of respondents) provided a variety of clinical services to all ages and to parents of children with a DSD condition. The majority of these 93 had seen just a few such individuals but ten HBIGDA members had seen 10 + in the previous two years. Fifteen members were on gender teams that managed infants born with various syndromes of DSD. Survey results show that HBIGDA members are involved in the care of persons with sex-atypical variants of genital differentiation, and that they desire continuing education on the topic.
