Abstract

State-of-the-art breast care has become highly sophisticated over the past 20 years. Dialogue among participating breast imagers, pathologists, surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, plastic and reconstructive surgeons, as well as genetic counselors, can only complement and enhance the care of the breast cancer patient. In an ongoing effort to offer an open forum to such breast care experts, the Multidisciplinary Breast Conference was launched in December 2000.
