Spontaneous internal mammary arterial bleed

Abstract

This case examines an 85-year-old woman who presented with spontaneous internal mammary artery bleed while taking enoxaparin for treatment of a deep venous thrombosis. The arterial bleed was controlled successfully through the use of transcatheter embolization.
