Abstract

Soft tissue injuries are among the most common traumatic injuries sustained by children and vary in severity from minor cuts and scrapes that require no intervention to severe, life-threatening injuries requiring emergent surgical intervention. A brief summary of the epidemiology, evaluation, management, and outcomes of soft tissue injuries is given.
