N1 - Funding Information: In addition, this meeting dovetailed with a grant funded by the Department of Defense to develop a National Trauma Research Action Plan as called for in the 2016 report from the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, “A National Trauma Care System” (Department of Defense contract W81XWH-18-CO179). The National Trauma Research Action Plan grant seeks to develop a comprehensive research agenda across the continuum of trauma care, including an important focus on long-term, functional recovery. To that end, one of the aims of the grant seeks to use a Delphi process informed by systematic review of the literature to build consensus on the optimal PROMs for injured patients. The expert participants of this conference were solicited for engagement as Delphi panel members during the next year as this project continues. Funding Information: Support: The Consensus Conference on Patient Reported Outcome Measures was supported by the American College of Surgeons and the Childress Institute for Pediatric Trauma.
