Abstract
The case histories of two patients with pineal region meningiomas are presented. Comparable cases reported previously in the literature are reviewed. A characterization of the clinical features of this lesion is formulated and compared with the clinical appearance of patients with other types of pineal masses. This characterization is placed in perspective by a brief discussion of the diagnostic evaluation of patients with pineal region tumors.
