Abstract

This presentation deals with acute hip pain problems in children. These include: fractures, avulsion injuries, infection and inflammation, aseptic necrosis, slipped capital femoral epiphysis, and tumor and tumorlike conditions. Emphasis is on plain film findings and how not to miss them in their subtle forms.
