Abstract

The aim of this study was to identify associated research trends in patient safety and hospitals. Content analyses were used to analyze the titles and abstracts of journal articles included in the PubMed database (1996ĝ€"March 2007; n ≤ 6569). The given category code for each record was analyzed. The developed consensus system may help scholars and clinicians identify studies to be done, examine trends in the research on hospital safety, and advance the knowledge in this field.
