Today's workforce is aging. Older adults are indicating a desire to work longer, and employers are interested in retaining skilled workers. Occupational therapy has an increasing role in the workplace to prepare employers and employees for addressing the needs of an aging workforce. This article will provide examples of how to apply the Person-Environment-Occupation model as a framework for determining needed workplace accommodations.
