Abstract
This innovative pilot program teamed medical and nursing students to provide an underserved population, more specifically ward of the court, with care. This paper describes the interprofessional competencies selected, the special training provided for students, outcome measures of medical student perceptions, and challenges faced during the planning and implementation of the program.
