Incorporating ethnicity into a high school sunburn prevention program

Abstract

Sunburn is a major preventable risk factor for skin cancer, but there is little shared experience about teaching high school students the concept of ultraviolet injury to ethnic skin. A Sunburn Education Program was developed to address this need and was administered to ethnically diverse high school students.
