Abstract

With the continuous increase in the incidence of malignant melanoma, as well as non-melanoma skin cancer, there is a growing need for a reliable, rapid and non-invasive diagnostic technique. Three different spectroscopic techniques that may offer these advantages are presented: reflectance spectroscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy and Raman spectroscopy.
