    Abstract

Rat C-6 glioma cells release a factor into culture medium which induces morphological differentiation in the IMR-32 human neuroblastoma cell line. The time course of differentiation and the effects on cell growth differ from those observed in mouse neuroblastoma cells. The effects of other cell lines and the relationship of differentiation to cell growth are discussed.
