N2 - Relieving pain and suffering is a primary goal of medicine and may be achieved by a comprehensive approach that may include complementary and alternative medicine.1 Teaching strategies that incorporate instruction on Integrative Medicine concepts and treatments for patients with pain may lead to changes in the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of medical trainees and may ultimately affect their patient care outcomes. This article will review how a one-hour interactive learning session for medical students and medical residents on an "Integrative Medicine approach to Treating Breast Pain" was developed, delivered, and evaluated.
