    Abstract

    In October 2010, the Institute of Medicine's (IOM) landmark report " The Future of Nursing: Leading Change, Advancing Health" was published. 1 Nursing leadership teams in all institutions and educational settings are being asked to explore the nurse's role and how it must evolve to meet the challenges of current and future quality care expectations.
