Abstract
Selected treatments from both chemical and vegetative group were evaluated for their efficacy in preventing damage of household woollen textile from wool moth. Minimum effective concentration reported for Cypermethrin was 0.0020% on wool weight and Clorpyriphos at 0.0015% (o.w.w.). In vegetative group 5% concentration of Neem leaves, 9% Mint leaves satisfactorily protected the woolen garments. Eucalyptus leaves provided protection against the wool moth acting as moth repellent substances as it does'nt create any mortality.
