Diagnosis and management of genitourinary stone in vesicovaginal fistula tract

Abstract

We present a case of a stone discovered in a vesicovaginal fistula afer a total abdominal hysterectomy. CASE: A 53-year-old woman presented with complaints of severe urinary incontnence, dyspareunia, and post- coital bleeding afer hysterectomy. Her partner reported pain with intercourse as well. Physical examinaton revealed urinary stone wrapped around permanent suture within the vesicovaginal fistula tract. Patent was taken to the operatng room for repair of the vesicovaginal fistula, anterior colporrhaphy and cystoscopy.
