Abstract

In five patients with metastatic carcinoma of the prostate involving the supraclavicular lymph nodes, the initial complaint was a mass in the neck. Rectal examination of the prostate in a patient with supraclavicular nodal involvement is important, even if pathologic examination of the nodal tissue is not clearly diagnostic of the lesion.
