Balloon ureteral occlusion: A new reversible technique in the management of ureteral fistulas

Abstract

We describe a new simple endourological technique, temporal balloon ureteral occlusion, that is able to interrupt completely the ureteral urine flow while preserving the ureteral integrity and avoiding the pitfalls of permanent ureteral occlusion.
