Abstract
Low back pain (LBP) is one of the most common musculoskeletal problems seen in adults. Despite the high prevalence of LBP, there is a lack of standardized approaches to the rehabilitation of individuals with LBP. Aerobic exercise training is frequently incorporated into LBP rehabilitation programs; however, there is little evidence that aerobic training is needed or effective in the treatment of LBP. This review examines the available evidence about exercise training in LBP and makes recommendations for future studies.
