Dr. Shannon Clark is in the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Maternal Fetal Medicine. Dr. Clark is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and subspecialty Maternal-Fetal Medicine by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her clinical interests are Maternal Disease, Fetal Abnormalities, and Pharmacology in Pregnancy. Her research interests include Pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of drug in pregnancy, smoking in pregnancy, thyroid disease in pregnancy and morbidity of Cesarean hysterectomy.

Dr. Shannon Clark received her medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine, Louisville, Kentucky. She completed her residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. She completed a fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. She is a recipient of the Golden Apple Teaching Award for Medical Student Education, among other honors.
